Cloud Support EngineerWe are looking for an experienced Cloud Support Engineer to be based in the Network Operations Centre of our client in Port Elizabeth.Requirements:Minimum 2 - 4 years' experience in cloud support.IT Qualification is essential.Driver's License is essential.Matric Qualification is essential.Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft environment (Azure) and cloud Services.Working experience and knowledge with Sharepoint and One-DriveWorking knowledge with MS-Office365, MS-Active Directory, MS-Windows Server, and MS-Exchange Server.Experience with troubleshooting and providing support required in network / data centre / systems / storage & Security administration and monitoring Services within a medium ICT organization.Working knowledge within the supported technical domain (i.e.
Network, Data Center, Telephony, Exchange, Storage, Cloud, Backup etc.
)Duties:Provide technical assistance to organizations that use cloud-based systems to manage their data and applicationsDiagnose and troubleshoot problems related to cloud-based solutions, providing technical assistance to customers, working with software and hardware vendors to resolve issues, and collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement new solutionsDeploys, debugs, and executes initiatives related to cloud computing, designs, develops, and maintains cloud-based systems, ensuring efficient data storage and adherence to security policies, interacts with clients, provides cloud support, and makes recommendations based on client needsMonitor client infrastructure and solutionsIdentify problems and errors prior to or when they occurInvestigate and support first line incidents and break downsProvide telephonic and remote support to clients when requiredExecute maintenance activities including patching and configuration changesReport and escalate incidents where necessaryEnsure the efficient and comprehensive resolutions of incidents and requestsSalary: R18 000 – R24 000 ctc per month
