This job maintains and ensures complete and appropriate drug therapy in a multidisciplinary pharmaceutical care environment.
Assumes responsibility for the management of pharmacy services with the goal of ensuring the patient receives complete and appropriate drug therapy and improving patient outcomes.
Provides drug information to patients and healthcare providers.
Works to resolve prior authorizations and all insurance billing on behalf of the patient and provider.
Oversees the Patient Advocate team.
Performs drug utilization review and checks for appropriateness.
Works with Specialty Fulfillment team to ensure complete and timely receipt of medications and compliance with drug therapy.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
