PathCare is a partnership of pathologists in private practice across South Africa that has been assisting doctors and healthcare professionals determine and confirm diagnoses since 1923. We are registered with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa) and all our laboratories are SANAS accredited.
An opportunity exists at the Reference Laboratory in N1 City, Cape Town for a Clinical Geneticist with
appropriate clinical and laboratory medicine expertise and experience. We seek a professional with a
high level of ethics and integrity who displays a proven track record of aligning with the PathCare values.
Minimum Requirements:
FCMG (SA) or equivalent qualification is required, with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience.
Current registration with the HPCSA as a Clinical Geneticist.
Experience in the private healthcare environment will be highly advantageous.
Direct laboratory involvement and experience will be advantageous.
The ability to strengthen and support PathCare's genetics consultation and testing service.
