Main purpose of the job:To provide clinical expertise in support of clinical research activities, including recruiting and screening participants in research studies according to the study protocol and providing clinical insight and support to the local investigator and study managementLocation:VIDA Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital , Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital, Helen Joseph Hospital, Rahima Moosa Mother and Child HospitalKey performance areas:Recruitment & RetentionScreening and consenting of participants for an antimicrobial-resistance studyEstablish a relationship of trust and respect with the participantsEnrolment ProceduresPerform study-related procedures including but not limited to blood draws, rectal swabs, and nasopharyngeal aspirates/swabs on adultsStore swabs and blood samples and facilitate the shipment of samples to the Johannesburg-based laboratoryCollect isolates from the local NHLS laboratoryCarry out follow-up interviews with participants according to SOPsQuality ControlPerform quality assurance of study file source data, i.e.
