The key purpose of the position is to manage and operate a profitable Primary Health Care Clinic that is situated in a pharmacy within the scope of practice of a registered nursing practitioner.Minimum Requirements:Essential:Grade 12 – MatricTertiary qualification in General NursingDegree/Diploma in MidwiferyRegistered with South African Nursing Council (SANC)Nursing practitioner must obtain BHF registration2-3 years' experience in practicing as a Primary Health Care Clinic SisterComputer skills – Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAdvantageous:Minimum 5 years practicing as a Primary Health Care SisterPatient Record System & CKS & AllegraJob Responsibilities:Perform Clinic Sister duties according to industry regulations and best practicesManage the average "feet-per-hour" rate and set clinic objectives to enhance patient careEnsure all clinic services are availableKeep accurate records of patient details and ensure communication is followed upEnsure that the clinic is open and operational according to the stated hoursProcess claims accurately and timeously according to industry standardsEnsure all stock and equipment in the clinic is in working conditionEnsure stock is sufficient in the clinic according to business needsBuild and maintain healthy relationships with stakeholders: Patients, Store and Dispensary Manager, Colleagues, Medical Aids, Suppliers/Reps, key role players in the community, and other Healthcare professionalsCompetencies:Essential:Knowledge of community health nursing, primary health care, and/or occupational health nursingStrong command of English (written and oral)Strong analytical skills relating to monthly clinic statisticsEmotional intelligence; trustworthy and honestAbility to manage team and self; self-directed and self-motivatedTime management skillsAdvantageous:BilingualKnowledge and understanding of business objectivesRelevant courses (e.g., Baby Immunisation, Family Planning, Primary Health Care, Breastfeeding, Disease Management)Special conditions of employment:Willing and able to work retail hoursPhysically fit and healthyValid driver's license and own reliable transportSouth African citizenClear credit and criminal recordsRemuneration and benefits:Market-related salaryMedical aidProvident fundStaff accountONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.
