Job FunctionThe client services manager will form part of the dedicated team based at the Client's offices in Vanderbijlpark. The aim of the partnership is to implement a LLP solution with control tower capability to act as the integrated platform for efficient tactical planning of road logistics around rail availability and capacity and to achieve targeted cost and efficiency improvement initiatives. The client services manager will be accountable to identify savings opportunities, implement the opportunities and the financial tracking of the baseline, savings and gainshare realisation of the solutions. Key Performance Areas:Identification and implementation of efficiency levers and initiatives to reduce the cost baseline for the client Financial tracking of the baseline, savings and gainshare of the partnership Accountable for profitability of the account including clear cause analysis for any variances Completing budget and quarterly reforecasts Monthly revenue projections Cost control in relation to operational requirements in line with client operational requirements Review monthly client invoicing and debtor collection Responsible for account administration: building, updating and communication of reports Drive the gainshare commercials with all stakeholders Fully understand the client's business and identify areas where DP World as a Group, Div and/or OpCo can add value to the client's end to end supply chain Formulate strategies in conjunction with the client to meet specific client needs Manage client relationships with key decision makers within the client's organisation and ensure healthy client and internal relationships are maintained through regular meetings between all stakeholders Be a driving force within the client 's company by building trust and cooperation at all levels within the client's organisation Champion the client's needs throughout the Company Jointly responsible to appropriately staff the business unit Jointly responsible to retain & grow key individuals Performance management of individuals Jointly responsible to create a "making business better" culture in the business Establish and maintain sound relationships with clients and employees by building a focused, motivated, and professional company culture to meet and exceed external & internal client expectations in line with the agreed SLADelivery of excellent business performance results though effective implementation of balanced scorecard, paying sufficient attention to business profitability & cost, people development, client relationships management, supplier management and internal business processes. Building, updating and communication of reports Ensure quality of reports of subordinates Delivery of consistently relevant, accurate and on time reports which include operational & financial analysis and highlight key risks and opportunities. Delivery of detailed Operational reports outlining performance by functional area, continuous improvements and focus areas. Preparing and communicating and presenting at Steerco level All systems and controls must be documented and managed to conform to the operational requirements Business Processes: Manage and control business processes in place to ensure accurate use of systems as well as the effective control of dedicated and ad hoc fleets and operational processes to conform to the high standard required by the client Develop and build relationships with supporting technology team Ensure that personnel administration is completed timeously and accurately Review and evaluate the processes designed to ensure regulatory compliance and manage risk in all aspects of the business. Ensure the operations comply with environmental and occupational H&S standards to meet legal requirements Support and help identify, define and agree Supply Chain Optimization projects with a targeted savings schedule. Implement the proposed projects to realize the savings and provide weekly reports on the savings realized. Evolve work teams and managers to establish a continuous improvement workplace culture. Ensure that baselines are signed off and agreed to by client facilitating the process of savings recognition Interaction with ops personnel, contact center personnel, client and other 3PLs. Qualifications Required:B Eng Industrial or B Com Logistics Experience and Skills Required:5-10 years' experience in Supply Chain or any other business or commercial field is advantageous Supply Chain and Project Management experience will be beneficial with a logistics company Industrial experience Advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Word Advanced knowledge of MS Excel Project management experience SQL experience beneficial Transport routing and scheduling experience beneficial Analytical SkillsAbout DP WorldTrade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
