Job description
We are hiring a Client Relationship Officer (Fair Trade & Sustainable) that will be based in our Somerset West office and report directly to the Ethics & Sustainable Division Manager. The CRO will play a pivotal role in communication with the clients, management of their files and the flow of certification.
Your tasks Manage client communication and files for CSR/Fair Trade and Sustainable Agriculture related standards.Monitor and ensure smooth certification flow for all client files in accordance with applicable guidelines.Sales and Client support - attending to applications, basic questions as well as technical inquiries related to dedicated schemes (in particular ROC, FairWild and Naturland Fair). Follow-up and evaluation of non-compliance resolution after audits.Client acquisitions as well as preparing and issuing renewal quotations.Other additional tasks from time to time as required by the E&S Division Manager.Profile Education: Tertiary degree or diploma in social sciences, agriculture, business, law or other relevant qualification. Language: Excellent English and Afrikaans spoken and written competency. Other languages and/or experience in business management would be beneficial. Technical skills: Experience and/or interest in sustainable agriculture/fair trade/CSR/certification would be beneficial.High level of computer literacy – confident MS Office user.Team playerMotivatedSelf-confidentWilling and eager to learnOrganized to the point of perfection What's in it for you? Type of contract: Permanent (6-month probation)
