Client Relationship Advisor - DurbanAon South Africa is recruiting a Client Relationship Advisor (CRA) in our Commercial department, based on a hybrid basis at our head offices in Durban.The purpose of the role is to maintain, retain and service clients in the SMME-environment, by improving day to day client relationships including servicing their portfolios.The role of CRA requires a dedicated, self-disciplined and motivated individual that comes with a minimum of 5 years' experience dealing with commercial clients.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeResponsible for being the primary point of contact for commercial clients.Responsible for the entire client life-cycle, including renewals, endorsements and/or cancellations.Responsible for maintaining and improving client satisfaction, retention, revenue and profitability.Responsible for organic growth including upselling and cross selling.Ensure high quality and efficient delivery of all client servicing, administrative and transactional activities.Responsible for the renewal process which includes pre-renewal, negotiating terms with insurers and presenting renewal terms to the client.Works with the admin team to finalize the policy documents.Negotiates with insurers on any discounts, following requests from clients.Manages and facilitates the cancellation process and creates the necessary refunds where applicable.Responsible for answering calls and assisting clients timeously.Build and maintain strong relationships with SMME clients through telephonic interactions by understanding their needs and providing advice.Responsible for credit control.Supporting clients by providing excellent client service by addressing client queries, resolving issues and offering guidance on commercial products and services.Have a good understanding of commercial insurance products and services to effectively communicate and upsell or cross-sell to clients.Skills and experience that will lead to successQualifications:A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.A Bachelor's degree is preferable.Must be registered as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act.Must be registered as a licentiate with the IISA.Knowledge:Excellent knowledge of commercial products and underwriting.A comprehensive knowledge of the South African and international short-term insurance markets will be advantageous.An in-depth strategic knowledge of industry and business strategies and company goals will be advantageous.Computer literacy with advanced know-how in MS Word and Excel.Skills and Attributes:Advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities.Ability to communicate optimally.Ability to work effectively over the phone to maintain and expand client relationships.Good interpersonal and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively in and with teams.Experience:Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Commercial Underwriting.How we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
