A prominent financial services provider has an exciting career opportunity available for a CLIENT LIAISON OFFICER – SHORT TERM INSURANCE, to join their dynamic business team in Somerset West, Western Cape. This is a permanent position which offers a market related salary structure.
Qualifications & Experience:Minimum matric, with a tertiary qualification advantageous.
Minimum 5 years' general working experience in the short-term insurance industry.
Minimum 3 years' experience in short term insurance advisory and sales services in corporate and personal lines.
A NQF level 4 qualification together with a RE5 certificate is a pre-requisite to all applications.Applicable Class of Business certification in short term insurance products and its relevant disciplines as per the FSCA.In depth knowledge of and proven experience in the marketing of short-term insurance products across the board.Strong entrepreneurial skills with a proven track record of successful business development in a similar role.
Other Requirements:A strong business network and client referral base highly advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal skills, well-presented and professional.
Very well-developed presentation skills.
The ability to successfully deliver and achieve goals in a target-driven environment.Solid experience and logistical knowledge of the Western Cape Province as business landscape.
Fully bi-lingual and eloquent in English and Afrikaans: speak, read and write. Isi-Zulu and Isi-Xhosa language abilities highly advantageous.Tenacious and driven, with the ability to multi-task.
Fully competent in the MS Office programme, with strong experience in report writing.
Compliant with well-developed change-management abilities.The ability to build multi-level business relations with various stakeholders.
Trustworthy and ethical with a strong sense of accountability.Valid driver's license with own reliable transport.
