PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To support the sales team by acting as the client liaison relating to orders, promotions and pricing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiating contact with customers to confirm orders where relevant sales rep is unable to do so.
Ensure that orders are executed promptly and accurately when receiving orders from customers.
Keep customers informed throughout the process whilst their orders are being prepared and relay information regarding unavailable stock.
Resolve any stock and system related queries that may arise at any point in time.
Ensure that a back order list is received from the warehouse on a daily basis to inform the customers and to assist customers in making alternative arrangements where necessary.
Routine communication with the debtors department is critical to confirm if customer's accounts are on hold and relay relevant information to sales rep.
Assist Warehouse and Operations teams during stock take.
Regular communication with sales reps if their customers are experiencing any issues or have any queries.
You may be required to assist with other tasks as and when operationally required.
Processing quotes for all customers.
Following up on outstanding payments when necessary.
Address any queries or issues customers may have.
Monitoring price increases and liaise with customers.
Generate leads for reps through dormant and new customers.
Assist warehouse and key accounts with orders and stock availability.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
Matric / Grade 12 as a minimum requirement.
Minimum 3 years Sales administration experience.
Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans & English).
Ability to multi-task.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R9500,00 - R10000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
Education:
High School (matric) (Required).
Experience:
Customer care: 3 years (Required).
License/Certification:
Drivers license (Required).
