Position OverviewWe are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Client & Data Insights Specialist to join our dynamic team within the Sanlam Loyalty & Rewards coalition program. If you possess a unique blend of skills in financial services and client data systems, and have a passion for developing and performing data analytics and behavioral science insights, this role is perfect for you. You will leverage your expertise in actuarial science, data science, valuations, and software to enhance the business intelligence function for Sanlam L&R across the Sanlam Group.
The individual appointed to this position is expected to:
Grow the Business Intelligence function for Sanlam L&R to ensure evidence-based decision-making for the group-wide Wealth Bonus ecosystem as well as the Sanlam Reality self-paying membership options.Work closely with the ITOps team as well as the Product & Marketing teams to produce and enhance internal management reports that track engagement and marketing metrics for the business.Assist in the development and execution of key functions within the Product Team to support Sanlam L&R with analytical insights and management feedback.Qualification and ExperienceDegree in Actuarial Science, Data Science or Computer Science and at least 3-4 years of experience in an analytical field.A demonstrated history of applying analytical thinking in a business environment.Experience in financial services (preferably) or other.Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages when managing data: (eg.
