Requirements:Senior Certificate (Matric).Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.2-3 years experience in Clearing, Forwarding, and/or the Supply Chain industry.Driver's license and own transport.Availability for overtime and after-hours work.Proficient in MS Office.Thorough knowledge of the Clearing and Forwarding industry, including full Supply Chain, Imports, and Exports processes.Highly motivated and driven.Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.Understanding of client and market dynamics.Excellent English and Afrikaans communication skills, both written and verbal.Basic knowledge of costing in the supply chain.Strong analytical and attention to detail skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to increased GP through efficient turnaround times and attention to detail.Operate within agreed expenditure budgets.Adhere to company policies and procedures.Awareness of international trade risks, rules, and regulations.Provide accurate and timely reports as required by management.Stay updated with market trends.Develop personal development plan.Build solid product, service, and industry knowledge.Manage quote requests and communicate effectively on progress.Track shipments and manage daily queries.Foster good relations with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.Escalate unresolved issues to management.Identify opportunities to add value and grow the business.Assist with processing cargo dues orders.Handle procedures for border police pre-stopped/stopped containers.Coordinate Port Health protocols for extended detentions, examinations, releases, etc.Stay informed on prohibited/restricted Import and Export commodities (via SARS).*ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED*
