Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility, including residents' rooms, common areas, and offices.
Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitise residents' rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors.
Dispose of waste and empty bins.
Clean and sanitise surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
Perform deep cleaning tasks as required.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
Adhere to health and safety regulations.
Maintain and clean the garden, including sweeping pathways and removing litter.

The ideal candidate will:

Be non-judgemental, forward-thinking, and passionate about mental health.
Possess empathy, reliability, and trustworthiness, demonstrating patience and positivity in their consistent care for residents.
Have a good understanding of mental illness gained through work, volunteering or personal experience.
Have good communication, organisational and IT skills.
Be highly motivated and committed to improving our service users' experience.
Enhanced DBS Check is required.
Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare or social care setting.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Reliable and punctual.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed Term Contract Pay: £11.44 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:

8 hour shift.
Monday to Friday.
Overtime.

Experience:

Cleaning: 1 year (preferred).

Language:

English (preferred).

Work authorisation:

United Kingdom (required).

Work Location: In person.
