This role involves performing various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and waste disposal. The Cleaner ensures that all areas, including restrooms, workspaces, and common areas, are kept in a pristine condition.ResponsibilitiesDaily Cleaning:Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in assigned areas.Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, windowsills, and furniture.Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.Refill supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels in restrooms.Empty trash bins and replace liners in designated areas.Deep Cleaning:Perform deep cleaning tasks such as scrubbing floors, washing windows, and disinfecting high-touch areas.Clean and sanitize kitchen or break areas, including appliances and countertops.Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with the facility's waste management protocols.Separate recyclable materials and ensure proper disposal.Maintenance of Cleaning Equipment:Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the supervisor.Health and Safety:Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals or cleaning potentially hazardous areas.Other Duties:Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events as needed.Perform additional tasks as requested by the supervisor.QualificationsPrevious experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred.Basic knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures.Additional InformationPhysical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
