Cleaner

Job DescriptionThe Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and organized environment within the facility.
This role involves performing various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and waste disposal.
The Cleaner ensures that all areas, including restrooms, workspaces, and common areas, are kept in a pristine condition.Daily Cleaning:Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in assigned and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, windowsills, and and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels in trash bins and replace liners in designated areas.Deep Cleaning:Perform deep cleaning tasks such as scrubbing floors, washing windows, and disinfecting high-touch and sanitize kitchen or break areas, including appliances and countertops.Waste Management:Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with the facility's waste management protocols.Separate recyclable materials and ensure proper disposal.Maintenance of Cleaning Equipment:Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the supervisor.Health and Safety:Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals or cleaning potentially hazardous areas.Other Duties:Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events as needed.Perform additional tasks as requested by the supervisor.QualificationsPrevious experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred.Basic knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures.
