ROLE SUMMARY:Job Overview:
The Facilities Cleaner and Event Support Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of the exterior of the building, sports facilities, and event spaces. This individual will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, assisting with event and function setups, and supporting the maintenance team with routine inspections of essential facilities such as toilets and other operational aspects of the building.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure the cleanliness of the exterior of the building, including entryways, pathways, parking areas, and surrounding grounds.Regular cleaning and maintenance of sports facilities, including outdoor courts, fields, and spectator areas.Manage litter removal, sweeping, power washing, and other tasks to keep outdoor spaces pristine.Assist in the setup and teardown of furniture and equipment for sports events, functions, and meetings.Coordinate with the events team to ensure timely and efficient setups according to event plans and layouts.Conduct routine inspections of toilets, lockers, and other essential building facilities to ensure they are clean, functional, and meet safety standards.Report any maintenance issues such as leaks, malfunctioning equipment, or structural concerns to the maintenance team.Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring all cleaning and maintenance tasks are carried out in a safe and compliant manner.Provide additional support to the team as required for special projects, emergency cleaning needs, and seasonal maintenance tasks.SAFEGUARDING STATEMENTInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
