Salary: R 131 265 - R 154 626 per annum plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
Minimum Requirements: Appropriate experience in the field of domestic and clinic cleaning services.Basic literacy and numeracy.Responsibilities: General cleaning, housekeeping, and maintenance (i.e., dusting, sweeping, polishing, scrubbing, mopping, cleaning windows, walls, equipment, machinery, and refuse removal).Ensure effective waste management and linen management.Effective and efficient utilization and storage of cleaning materials and equipment.Provide optimal support to the supervisor and colleagues with general housekeeping duties and services.Adhere to general hygienic and safe environment standards and procedures.Skills: Good interpersonal skills.Knowledge of the correct methods of handling and disposal of refuse/waste products and adherence to policies and cleaning procedures.Ability to operate machinery and equipment.Knowledge of legislation and policies of the Department of Health and Wellness relevant to cleaning practice.Physical ability to lift and/or move heavy objects and supplies.Additional Information: Candidates may be subjected to a practical/written assessment. As directed by the Department of Public Service and Administration, applicants must note that further checks will be conducted once they are shortlisted, including security clearance, qualification verification, criminal records, and previous employment.
