SMC Brands is a wholesale distributor of various Brands in the Liquor and FMCG industry, representing Brand Principals such as Diageo, Heineken International, Jägermeister, Namibian Breweries, E. Snell, RGBC, Campari, Erdinger, Super Bock, various Wine Producers (Rupert & Rothchild, Du Toitskloof, Spier, Van Loveren), Twizza, Simba, Adcock Ingram, JDE Coffee and Sanulac. SMC operates in the Southern African markets of Namibia, Botswana, Eswatini and Lesotho, and consolidates in South Africa.The position entails:Process Supplier Invoices and SAD500/Customs Assessments for Imported products from Foreign Suppliers. Check assessment of Customs Duties/Levies and Import VAT.Investigate and process Supplier claims (damages, shortages, pricing differences, Customer Rebates and Promotional claims).Prepare Foreign Supplier reconciliations and payments, including management of cash flow requirements, in line with Trading Terms.Review and report on purchase price variances, reconciliation and clearing of transport/freight suspense accounts, capturing of foreign currency transactions.Month end Accruals.Manage and maintain an efficient paperless system for Stock Received across 5 countries.Assist with budgeting process.Proficient in Excel and Computer Assisted Techniques to ensure efficiencies.Job Type: Full-timeApplication Deadline: 2024/10/31Expected Start Date: 2024/12/01
