Employment Type: PermanentReference No: 13700Cape TownQualifications and Experience:Candidate must have a B Tech degree in Civil Engineering.A minimum of 3 years' experience in civil design of water-related infrastructure including treatment plants, pump stations and/or pipelines.The candidate must have experience in generating construction drawings, project specifications, and pricing schedules.Responsibilities:Planning, conceptual design, detail design and construction drawings, specifications, contract administration, and project management of civil engineering projects.Carrying out measurements and valuations to produce accurate project schedules, quantities, and valuations at all stages of a project.Assistance with technical advancement and business development by pursuing technical excellence and maintaining quality assurance on projects.Assistance with proposals/tenders.Ensuring that project timelines and deliverables are met.Good communication and time management skills.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of statutory procedures and technical standards.Ability to work independently, but also to function well in a team environment.Self-motivation.Soft skills required to maintain client relations.Candidate must be proficient in civil engineering design packages e.g., Wadiso, Sewesan, Hecras.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.Requirements:Candidate must be proficient in civil engineering design packages e.g., Wadiso, Sewesan, Hecras.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.Remuneration:Negotiable and based on the candidates qualifications and years of relevant experience.Starting Date:12/3/2024 12:00:00 AMClosing Date:12/15/2024 12:00:00 AM
