Job description:Your mission: Manage HSEC requirements for all service providers at Mondi: Civils, roads, rails, plumbing and structural steel. Management and creation of contracts for various service providers at Mondi: Civils, roads, rails, plumbing and structural steel. Scoping of works and drafting of method statements for various Business Units: Structural repairs, removal of redundant structures and equipment, Road repairs, Concrete work, earthworks. Improvement projects: Upgrade to buildings, structures, roads, drainage and underground services (water, Sewer, Effluent-lines). Understanding of various materials of construction required for building, concrete and piping repairs. Perform structural and building inspections, compile condition assessment reports and consolidate a corrective action plan catering to all defects. Perform a variety of routine civil and related maintenance activities – management of PMMPs. Quality assurance – manage contractor hold points, perform regular inspections, and consolidate closure reports. Design and management of civil and structural projects from concept to construction phase. Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that work is being completed according to specifications and quality standards. Promote safety, health and environmental issues. Accurate reporting. Your profile: BTech Diploma in Civil Engineering. BSc/BEng degree would be an advantage. 5 years' experience in a Heavy Industry. Civils, Roads, Structural steel, Redundant Equipment removal experience. Strong knowledge of construction and maintenance practices and processes, materials, and techniques. In-depth understanding of industry and building regulations. Experience within the Pulp & Paper industry and performing work in heavy industries will be beneficial. Recognition for prior learning will be considered/given.
