Key Performance Output The successful candidates will be reporting to the Senior Manager: Site Maintenance & Engineering and will be responsible but not limited to the following: Life cycle planning of assets.  Achieve high level of availability, reliability and operation of infrastructure/assets with minimum cost to contribute to business sustainability and profitability.  Ensure that maintenance contracts are in place and aligns to ACSA requirements, comply to stakeholder and related legislative, SOP's, practices and requirements to ensure continuous operations. Identify and apply viable technology and strategies to improve equipment efficiencies and lifestyle costing. Ensure continuous improvement to various infrastructure in the department to increase equipment reliability and stakeholder satisfaction.  Keep current with latest equipment, technologies and maintenance methods to ensure best practice. Manage overall governance and provide input into contract specifications. Compile, manage and account for relevant budgets according to business requirements and specifications. Manage stock levels according to minimum quantities advised and order when necessary. Review of monthly and quarterly stock counts. Perform quality inspection on maintenance work done and implement/propose remedial action where necessary Scope project according to business requirements. Manage maintenance CAPEX projects in line with set standards.  Provide technical support and design review and quality management on projects. Compile technical specification/ scoping for tender document.  Participate in bid evaluation committee by providing recommendations on technical specification. Compile reports on infrastructure and maintenance key performance indicators and ensure proactive action are implemented when needed.  Coordinate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders with regards to impact of project activities and their needs. 
Technical Skills and Experience The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:  Bachelor's degree (4 Years – 480 Credits). 6 years operational experience in Engineering/facility management. Contract Management Understanding of Sound Engineering Principles Knowledge of Relevant legislations Project Management Skills MS Office  Code 8 Driver's license
