Reference: JHB001483-MS-1Respond to business requests to ensure infrastructure availability and safety.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLife cycle planning of assets.Achieve a high level of availability, reliability, and operability of infrastructure/assets with minimum cost to contribute to business sustainability and profitability.Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOPs, operational standards, policies, and practices.Ensure that maintenance contracts are aligned to company requirements to comply with stakeholder and related legislative requirements to ensure continuous operations.Identify and apply viable technology and strategies to improve equipment efficiencies and lifecycle costing.Ensure continuous improvement to various infrastructure in the department to increase equipment reliability and stakeholder satisfaction.Keep current with the latest equipment, technologies, and maintenance methods to ensure best practice.Ensure company maintenance contracts are in place.Manage overall governance and provide input into contract specifications.Ensure effective and compliant contract management and that work is executed in accordance with contract (time frame, SLA, Scope, quality, budget, contractors).Compile business cases for capital approval.Forecast and review cash flow on a monthly basis.Determine project costs (part of feasibility study).Execute expenditure approval within DLA.Compile, manage, and account for relevant budgets according to business requirements and specifications.Manage stock levels according to minimum quantities advised and order when necessary.Review monthly and quarterly stock counts.Perform quality inspections on maintenance work done and implement/propose remedial action where necessary.Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree (4 years - 480 credits) in Engineering/BSc Mechanical/Electrical/Civil.Package & RemunerationAnnually.
