Civil Engineer / Technologist

We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Cape Town, Western Cape .
Role: Civil Engineer (Registered) / Civil Technologist (Registered) Industry: Civil Engineering / Water Infrastructure Level: Senior / Registered Professional Key Requirements: BSc/BEng/BTech in Civil Engineering.
Must be professionally registered with ECSA as a Pr Engineer or Pr Technologist.
5 years experience in construction monitoring and/or supervision, with active involvement in ECSA-Stage 5 related responsibilities.
10 years verifiable experience in the design of civil and/or building-related infrastructure, such as pump stations, pipelines, water-retaining structures, and hydraulic control structures.
Experience in generating construction drawings (civil or building/structural work) will be preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Autodesk design packages (Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
Proficiency in Windows Office (Excel & Word as a minimum).
Experience in project management, including monitoring project progress, managing financial expenditure, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Ability to generate and review civil and structural designs and contract documentation for water-related infrastructure projects.
Experience in construction administration, including issuing site instructions, variation orders, and ensuring compliance with quality control plans.
Measurement and certification of completed work, including cash flow forecasts.
