Civil Engineer (Renewable Energy Consultant)

Top consulting engineering firm is looking for a Civil Engineer with renewable energy projects experience to join their Energy Division in Johannesburg.Key ResponsibilitiesProject management support to lead Project Manager and delivery of lender's technical advisory, owner's engineer and design services within the renewable energy sector for private Independent Power producer clients, including project planning and management, feasibility studies, concept design development and preparation of technical specifications and tender documentation - with particular focus on photovoltaic, wind, storage and grid systems.Technical due diligence review and construction and operations monitoring project stages.Writing technical reports and presentations, compiling design drawings and presentations.Preparation of bids and proposals.RequirementsBEng, BSc, or BTech in Civil Engineering.Candidate Engineer with ECSA.At least 4 years work experience relevant in the energy sector with specific exposure to the renewable energy (solar and/or wind).Desired SkillsRenewable Energy Project experience.Owner's engineering.Lender's technical advisory.Design.
