Civil Engineer (Registered) Or Civil Technologist (Registered)

Candidates are required to have experience in construction monitoring and/or supervision (i.e., actively involved with ECSA-Stage 5 related responsibilities), as well as verifiable experience in the design of civil and/or building-related infrastructure (e.g., pump stations, pipelines, water retaining structures, and hydraulic control structures).A candidate with experience in generating construction drawings (for civil or building/structural work) shall be advantageous.Responsibilities Include the following:Be responsible for civil and structural related designs in water-related projects.Review detailed design drawings for civil and building works.Project Management:Generate and review civil and structural designs and contract documentation for construction of water-related projects.Assist or be responsible for construction and contract administration.Monitor and report on the project programme and financial expenditure.Generate and/or implement Engineers quality control plan and monitor construction works.Measurement and certification of completed work inclusive of cash flow forecasts.Issuing of site instructions, variation orders, drawings, etc.Compile reports and as-built data in accordance with the Employer's standard requirements.Strong communication and people relation skills are essential.Astute learner and ability to work well in a team environment.The suitable candidate must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle and must be willing to travel.Proficient in Autodesk design packages (Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D) and Windows Office (Excel & Word as a minimum).
