Civil Engineer (Registered) Or Civil Technologist

Candidates required to have experience in construction monitoring and/or supervision (i.e., actively involved with ECSA-Stage 5 related responsibilities). As well as verifiable experience in the design of civil and/or building related infrastructure (e.g., pump stations, pipelines, water retaining structures and hydraulic control structures).A candidate who has experience in generating construction drawings (for civil or building/structural work) shall be advantageous. Responsibilities Include the following: Be responsible of civil and structural related designs in water related projects.Be responsible and review of detailed design drawings for civil and building works.Project Management.Generate and review civil and structural designs and contract documentation for construction of water related project.Assist or be responsible with construction and contract administration.Monitoring and reporting on the project programme and financial expenditure.Generate and/or implement Engineers quality control plan and monitor construction works.Measurement and certification of completed work inclusive of cash flow forecastsIssuing of site instructions, variation orders, drawings, etc.Compile reports and as-built data in accordance with the Employer's standard requirements.Strong communication and people relation skillsAstute learner and work well in a team environment.Suitable candidate must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle and must be willing to travel.Proficient in Autodesk design packages (Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D).Proficient in Windows Office (Excel & Word as a minimum).Salary: R50000 MonthlyJob Reference #: 1135017
