Civil Engineer Job Opportunity
Hire Resolve is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our client's team to manage large construction projects in Bloemfontein, specifically in the water sector. The ideal candidate will have expertise in water demand management, water conservation, and Non-Revenue Water projects.
Responsibilities:
Oversee large construction projects focused on water infrastructure.
Manage projects involving pressure and network zone management, including the installation of concrete chambers, bulk water meters, and pressure-reducing valves.
Provide technical support in water demand management and conservation.
Conduct feasibility studies, prepare proposals, and write reports.
Handle contract documents, procurement, and contract administration according to SAICE, GCC, and FIDIC standards.
Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Use software tools like AutoCAD and Civil 3D for project design and implementation.
Requirements:
B.Sc/B. Eng in Civil Engineering.
Professional registration with ECSA is preferred but not required.
At least 5 years of experience in a related field.
Proven experience in water demand management and conservation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience with WADISO is a plus.
Familiarity with contract documentation and administration (SAICE, GCC, FIDIC).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Valid South African Driver's License.
South African citizen or valid work permit.
