OVERVIEWThe fulltime supervision and management (from plant to pit) for the preparation, installation, and construction of:In-pit deposits (Tailings Storage Facility)All related civil earthworks e.g. excavations, dozingSlurry / re-mine pipelinesConcrete works. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSite SupervisionSite Quality Control ManagementProgramme/Project ManagementTechnical adviceInspectionsProgress reportsEnsure compliance to all Safety, Health and Environmental rules of the site.Consult, interact with clients to optimize operating specificationsAdhere to company / client policies and procedures which may be amended from time to time.To assume other duties as may be assigned by the Client / Managing Director.TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIESExcellent written and verbal communications skills.A valid Code 14 drivers licenseComputer literate (MS Office; Autocad/Prokon; Projects)Ability to maintain sound interpersonal relations with Client, CompanyProblem solving skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to plan, lead, execute and organize tasks.Management, supervisory, communication skills.REQUIREMENTSBSc/B Eng/BTech in Civil EngineeringECSA registeredMinimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the mining environmentClean record with valid COF or the ability to obtain a certificate of fitnessAble to commence duties on short notice. Salary: R45-50,000.00 based on experience
