Civil Engineer

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our client's team in Pretoria.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and manage projects in the field of civil engineering
Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
Perform site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and quality
Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates
Handle documentation and reporting requirements

Requirements:
Non-negotiable requirement: National diploma in Civil Engineering (Project Management and N3 qualifications are insufficient). The position is for a Site Agent but requires a skill level akin to a Contract Manager, with compensation commensurate to this seniority. Experience must include "greenfields development," encompassing comprehensive infrastructure expertise in water and sewer reticulation, roads, stormwater installation, and mass earthworks (all aspects of civil construction). Proficiency in CCS (Candy) is essential, with the ability to independently handle payment certificates. Capability to schedule projects and achieve production targets is crucial. Candidates below this threshold need not apply, as this role requires more than a Site Manager's skill set. Willingness to reside in Sasolburg for approximately 18 months initially, potentially extending over three years with additional phases (negotiable).
