Job Title: Civil EngineerWe are looking for a Civil Engineer with around 3 - 5 years of experience to join the Mining Infrastructure Department of a consulting engineering firm's Johannesburg office.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign of mine infrastructure from concept layouts to detailed designDesign of bulk earthworks, terraces, roads, etc.Hydrological runoff calculation and water balance modelingWater management infrastructure design including dams and canalsMine waste disposal facilities and tailings facilitiesCompilation of reportsCompilation of tender documents, including scope of work, specifications, and bills of quantitiesData analysis, processing, and interpretationSite visits and investigations, including geotechnical investigationsDesired Experience & QualificationsBEng. / BSc. Eng. in Civil Engineering or higher qualification3 - 5 years of experienceGood fundamental understanding and knowledge of soil mechanics
