Duties and Responsibilities:Perform complex civil engineering designsProject Leader or Design EngineerCompile and review project / technical reports and data collectionFacilitate the procurement process for planned workAccountable for quality standards, legal and contractual aspects and stakeholder relations for the projectProficient in the use of civil engineering software, in particular Civil 3D, AutoCAD/ Revit, iDAS and project management software.Qualification and ExperiencePostgraduate degree (NQF8) Bachelor of Science in Engineering, B-Tech Degree in Civil/ Structural EngineeringMinimum 8 years experience in the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, of which 5 is in managing large scale projects in the same fieldProficient in the use of Civil Engineering software, in particular Civil 3D, AutoCAD/ Revit and iDAS.Advanced project management skillsLead teams on multi-disciplinary projectsOverall knowledge in all aspects of civil engineering, including bulk earthworks, roads, water, sewer, and stormwater design.
