We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our client's engineering consulting team. As a Civil Engineer in the consulting industry, you will work on a variety of projects, providing engineering solutions and expertise to clients in both the public and private sectors.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and develop engineering designs and plans.
Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project feasibility.
Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
Perform calculations and analysis to ensure design integrity and safety.
Coordinate with other team members, including architects and surveyors, to complete projects on time and within budget.
Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
Stay up-to-date with industry codes and regulations.
Attend meetings and presentations to communicate project progress and findings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering.
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with industry codes and regulations.
Experience in the consulting industry is preferred.
