Civil Engineer/ Civil Technologist

Job Description
Individuals need to have an understanding of statutory approval processes (e.g. City of Tshwane, Johannesburg Roads Agency, Johannesburg Water, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:

Planning and/or conceptual design.
Detail design.
Specification.
Procurement process administration and contract administration of projects.
Carrying out measurements and valuations to produce accurate project schedules, quantities, and valuations at all stages of a project.

Requirements:

Excellent technical writing skills.
Good communication and time management skills.
Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment and function independently with limited guidance.
A valid driver's license and own vehicle.
Willingness to travel to remote sites.

The candidate will also play a role in the review of work and the mentoring of staff as part of our team.
