Job Description
KEY ROLE:
To function in a Design Team as a civil designer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Able to perform AutoCAD Civil 3D designs of the following:
Tailings storage facilities
Embankment and internal drainage systems
Water dams
Peripheral infrastructure
General arrangements
Concrete detailing
General earthworks modelling for mining projects
Geotechnical site investigation plans
Major and minor road modelling
Hydraulic structures
Stormwater Management Plans
Muk 3D deposition plans

Team player and able to function within a highly motivated team.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in design of mine infrastructure and dams.
Highly competent with civil engineering design using Autodesk Civil 3D software.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND GENERIC SKILLS:

As per Key Responsibilities above.
Self-training ability, with an affinity to learn new design technologies.
