An internationally recognised grower, packer, and exporter of citrus fruit and table grapes is looking for an Assistant Production Manager in Riviersonderend (CITRUS).
This is an ideal opportunity for an agriculture graduate that needs experience to start his/her career in agriculture to ultimately become a production manager and future farm manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Production (Citrus):
Planting of citrus
Irrigation scheduling
Application of fertilizer
Pest and plague control, pruning
Harvesting
Monitoring, all manipulations
Personnel and administration:
Labor planning and management
Recordkeeping
Transport and accommodation planning
Maintenance (equipment/orchards/general)

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DETAILS

Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification
Up to three years' experience in the cultivation of citrus
Knowledge of sound production practices
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
Good administrative and communication skills
Ability to work with people and lead teams
Driver's license
