Citrus Orchard Manager

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMatric with mathematicsMinimum of 10 years management experience in citrus, preferably obtained on more than one farm/location.Ability to both compile and work to a budget.Previous packhouse experience advantageousExperience with Degreening/ Electronic grading/Packing standards/Logistics/working with export agents advantageousComputer literateExcellent attention to detail with good results at present employer.A strong knowledge of production, harvest, irrigation, spraying, pruning, fertilization, and general orchard management.Strong Inter person relations with good communication and people skills.Ability to work with a large labor force, to motivate and get good productivityA strong work ethic and leading by exampleA clear criminal record and with no criminal cases pending.Valid drivers licenseONLY short listed candidates will be contacted
