An innovative consulting and accountancy firm is looking for a passionate and highly organised, aspiring CGMA affiliate to join its team in Somerset West.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on learning and mastering new accounting technologies and aspires to join a team renowned for transforming traditional accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate financial records, including recording all transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements.Prepare and deliver monthly management reports, client-specific financial analyses, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements.Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making for clients.Provide exceptional client service by engaging proactively, addressing inquiries promptly, and delivering accurate and timely financial information.Build strong client relationships to foster trust and long-term partnerships.Develop a comprehensive understanding of each client's financial situation, identifying additional needs and opportunities for support.Recommend tailored Finovate service solutions, including Advisory, Fractional Finance Manager (FM), and Fractional CFO services, to help clients achieve their financial goals.Drive operational excellence by identifying process improvements, maintaining high-quality standards, and consistently meeting deadlines.Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all deliverables, leveraging technology and best practices to streamline workflows.Actively contribute to team projects, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.Pursue continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge, and regularly communicate personal growth goals with supervisors.Qualifications and Experience:In-progress CIMA or wanting to register with CIMA upon the completion of the relevant degree.Bachelor's Degree or Diploma with Management Accounting or Accounting as a major.Exposure to accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage or Xero is highly advantageous.Salary:R13,5k - R18k / month CTC
