Chief Officer: Professional Nurse (post level 8) (Job ID: 5976) Duties and responsibilities: Manage general functioning of the clinic which includes, but not limited to, delegating tasks, schedules and assignments as needed.Design and implement clinic strategies to reach organizational goals.Recruit, hire and coordinate the training of new staff members.Perform and review performance of staff.Submit reports as required.Ensure that staff is registered at SANC, and that procedures and protocols are followed as required by SANC and DoH.Liaise with various stakeholders including DoH and NGOs.Budget planning and implementation of sustainability measures.Order medication, consumables, and equipment as necessary.Update risk registers and identify new risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.Ensure compliance with POPIA and ethical codes.Develop and implement strategic management plans in the division.Assist with clinical duties of the clinic as necessary, including consultations with patients, treatment, education and support.Inherent Job Requirements: Relevant degree/diploma in nursing with qualifications in General, Midwifery/Accoucheurs, psychiatry, and community health.Post basic degree/diploma in Primary Healthcare.Dispensing certificate.NIMART.Pulsa Plus/P101.Post basic degree/diploma in health care management.Knowledge of PrEP.Proof of registration at the South African Nursing Council (SANC).A minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in a clinic environment and clinic management.A valid driver's licence.Recommendations: Language proficiency in Sotho and/or Zulu.Dispensing licence.Experience in working with young adults.Key Competencies Required: Results oriented:
