CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER HIRT & CARTER DURBAN
This role is essential for maintaining the company's financial health and making strategic decisions that promote profitability and long-term success. The CFO will collaborate closely with the CEO and other executive team members to develop financial strategies and manage risks. Additionally, the CFO will lead and guide the relevant teams, oversee reporting, and ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Lead the development and execution of the company's financial strategyOversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysisEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirementsOverview the financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, commercial and investment opportunitiesIdentify and mitigate financial risks, while capitalizing on opportunities for growthDrive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controlsDevelop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operationsProvide financial models and scenario analysis for future growth and opportunitiesLead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: CA (SA) or CIMA qualification with a minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience in a senior or executive financial role in a medium to large organisationMBA advantageousBroad understanding of business processes and controlsExperience with project management methodologies BEHAVIOURS & ATTRIBUTES: Proven financial and commercial acumen with negotiation skillsStrong communicator with the confidence to challenge, influence, and support at all levelsHigh level experience in continuous improvement and driving financial performanceAbility to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloadProven ability to scope and deliver projects The advert has minimum requirements listed.
