SALARY AND BENEFITS: R1.5 – R2.2mil p/a CTC neg
DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS:
The Chief Financial Officer will oversee Finance, Legal and regulatory, Risk, and financial operations, and Group Consolidations for a well-established, successful and ever-growing imports and distribution Business, based in Joburg's East Rand.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
CA(SA) qualification essential
5 - 10 years' experience in a CFO/Senior Financial Manager role
Experience in manufacturing / construction/ industrial / mining / Imports / FMCG /OEM industries
Strong knowledge and experience in working with high volumes of stock, preferably in an import/buy and sell environment.
Strong team leadership skills and experience
Experience with Kerridge ERP system highly advantageous
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the CEO and as part of the senior management team, the CFO will focus on the Group's performance in relation to its strategic objectives.
You will lead a team of finance professionals, ensuring organizational deliverables are met and exceeded, and guide the business to maximizing cash flows and profits through strategic activities and decisions.
Although this is an Executive position, the CFO will still be expected to have an eye on "what's happening on the ground", with a large focus on stock and inventory management and processes.
A proven track record of managing and mentoring successful teams, as well as a high level of commercial astuteness will be essential for this role.
