My client is a multifaceted South African company active in a range of sectors, such as telecommunications, electronics, and industrial services.
The role will report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.Overseeing the preparation of and monitoring budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).Identifying financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.Overseeing insurance and other risk management strategies.Managing cash flow to ensure the company can meet its obligations and invest in growth.Analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and providing insights to drive business decisions.Leading and managing the finance team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.Providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business development.Implementing and managing financial systems and technology to streamline processes and improve reporting.Overseeing financial due diligence and integration processes for mergers, acquisitions, or other significant business transactions.Job Experience and Skills Required: CA(SA) - non-negotiable6-8 years post-articles experience4+ years in a leadership/similar roleIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
