Duties: Financial Strategy & Leadership: Lead the development and execution of the companys financial strategy, aligning it with overall business goals and growth objectives. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate, timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage the budgeting process, providing detailed financial forecasting and variance analysis to guide decision-making and resource allocation. Cost Management & Efficiency: Drive cost management initiatives, particularly in manufacturing and engineering operations, with a focus on improving profitability and operational efficiency. Stock & Inventory Management: Oversee financial controls and processes related to stock management, inventory valuation, and supply chain costs in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Cash Flow & Liquidity Management: Ensure efficient cash flow management, optimizing working capital, and implementing strategies to maintain healthy liquidity levels. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure the company adheres to all financial regulations and reporting standards. Manage financial risk and ensure robust internal controls. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and professional growth. Qualifications & Skills: Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)).
