Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
A leading company in The Middle East is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join its Executive Management team. As a key member of the team, the CFO will report to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company.
The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This includes:
Directing and overseeing all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of The Group and all branches.
Developing, maintaining, and monitoring accounting processes, policies, and procedures in accordance with SOCPA and IFRS.
Ensuring timely tax/zakat filing and resolving issues related to pending Zakat assessments.
Reviewing and analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, and coordinating auditing processes.
Working with the CEO and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
Developing and monitoring the company's strategic financial planning and budgeting in coordination with the CEO.
Overseeing investment of funds and working with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.
Ensuring effective internal controls are in place and compliance with Saudi Arabia regulations and applicable local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
Ensuring effective external Audits & Reviews, with a view to meet all regulatory requirements and deadlines.
Monitoring cash flow of the company at all times for better cash/fund management.
Applying Zero based budget techniques and ensuring budgeting process is being followed for annual budget preparation.
Reviewing active contracts to ensure necessary action and applying contract risk management from a finance standpoint.
Implementing and monitoring internal controls ensuring Fraud risk management and control.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or relevant major.
10+ Years of Experience in 360 Financial Management.
CIMA or relevant accreditation highly advantageous.
Gulf Experience is highly advantageous.
