Chief Financial Officer

A prominent company in the South African automotive industry, representing renowned global brands, is looking for a dynamic and seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team on a permanent basis. The primary focus of this role is to spearhead financial strategy, manage the cash flow, oversee financial reporting, and lead a team of financial managers to drive growth and profitability. Duties: Lead and manage the overall financial operations of the company, including accounting, financial planning, and reporting. Oversee cash flow management, ensuring liquidity and optimal capital allocation. Prepare and present management reports, budgets, and forecasts to the executive team and board of directors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance, profitability, and cost efficiencies. Develop and implement robust financial controls and ensure compliance with local regulations. Lead and mentor a team of financial managers, ensuring effective financial reporting and management practices across the group. Provide strategic input into the companys growth plans, helping to identify risks and opportunities. Drive the automation of financial processes and implementation of financial systems to improve accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications & Skills: CIMA or CA(SA) qualification is essential. 6 years of experience in senior financial roles. Strong experience in managing cash flow, budgets, and forecasts for a large organization. Proven experience in leading financial teams.
