Select your country to see jobs specific to your location.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement the company's financial strategy to support business growth and long-term sustainability.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.Evaluate and manage financial risks, providing insight into potential challenges and opportunities.Financial Management & OperationsOversee financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and related systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.Ensure that the organization's financial records are maintained in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Board ReportsPrepare comprehensive financial reports for board meetings, including performance metrics, financial forecasts, and key risks/opportunities.Communicate complex financial data to non-financial board members effectively.Provide strategic input and support decision-making with actionable insights.Commission ManagementDevelop and oversee systems for calculating, auditing, and distributing commissions.Ensure transparency and accuracy in commission-related payments and processes.FSP ManagementEnsure compliance with financial service regulations and standards.Oversee relationships with financial institutions and service providers to optimize service delivery and minimize risks.Implement systems to monitor performance metrics tied to FSP operations.FIASCollaborate with stakeholders to align foreign investments with the company's strategic goals.Assess international financial markets, tax implications, and regulatory frameworks to ensure proper investment strategies.Provide risk analysis and mitigation plans for international ventures.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.Collaborate with other department heads to support cross-functional initiatives and maintain financial integrity across the organization.Investment & Capital ManagementDrive capital planning and investment strategy, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet business needs and shareholder expectations.Oversee mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures as needed to support strategic growth objectives.Build and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions to support fundraising activities.Corporate Governance & ComplianceEnsure the organization's compliance with all financial regulations, internal controls, and corporate policies.Maintain and enhance corporate governance standards, including risk management and internal audit functions.Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements and adjust financial practices accordingly.Strategic Initiatives & Special ProjectsServe as a key strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, contributing to the development and execution of corporate strategy.Lead or participate in special projects that support business growth, efficiency improvements, and industry innovation.Risk ManagementIdentify and manage financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and funding strategies to meet operational and strategic needs.Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Chartered Accountant or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration.Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the financial service industry.Technical Skills: Proficient in financial management software, ERP systems, and advanced knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis. Good knowledge of technology and systems to implement and drive efficiencies.Operational: Ability to be operational when required.Leadership: Demonstrated experience in building, leading, and motivating a high-performing finance team.Strategic Mindset: Ability to think long-term, with a proven track record of contributing to business strategy and driving sustainable growth.Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Entrepreneurial: Having an owner mindset.
