Chroni-Co, situated outside Paarl, Western Cape, has the abovementioned position available. The successful candidate will report directly to the Board and will be responsible for the general management, productivity, and profitability of the entire business.Duties will include (but not be limited to): Development of business strategy & long-term operational plan and budget, in collaboration with the BoardOverall financial managementEnsuring regulatory complianceEstablishing and developing relationships with key stakeholdersHR management and developmentBusiness development, including the expansion of existing markets and the establishment of new marketsInfrastructure and capacity planningStrategic and risk managementProvide leadership to the business in managing the relevant business operating unitsAll other tasks related to this position.Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: Tertiary qualification (Honours level/MBA/Financial Management);Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience in a similar position (experience in the Agriculture/Pharmaceutical industry will be advantageous);Strong commercial and strategic acumen;Excellent human relations skills;Outstanding interpersonal- and communication skills;Good knowledge of export industries;Must be able to work independently.Commencement date: As soon as possible.
