Business Development and Strategy Execution: Collaborate with the Board of Directors to implement the strategic plan and organisational goals.Identify new opportunities for growth, revenue generation, and member benefits.Monitor industry trends and evaluate their implications for the association's strategies and operations. Stakeholder and Partner Management: Cultivate strong relationships with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.Represent the association in industry forums and advocate for policies that benefit members.Promote the electric vehicle sector and its contributions to sustainable development. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusivity.Monitor team performance and provide support for professional growth and development. Board Liaison: Regularly report to the Board of Directors on operational performance and strategic initiatives.Collaborate with the board on policy development and organisational direction.Provide timely and accurate information to support informed decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum of 10-15 years of leadership experience in operational or general management roles, preferably within the automotive sector or association management.Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, driving operational efficiency and business outcomes.Strong understanding of automotive industry trends, regulations, and best practices.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and resources effectively.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
