Our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead their operations in the poultry production industry in Zambia. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the companys strategic goals and objectives in alignment with shareholder and investor expectations. Build and maintain strong relationships with the Board of Directors, shareholders, and international investors, providing regular updates on operational and financial performance. Drive innovation and implement strategies to ensure sustainable growth and market competitiveness. Operational Oversight: Oversee all day-to-day operations of the poultry production business, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to industry standards. Collaborate with departmental managers to meet production targets, maintain quality standards, and optimize resource utilization. Identify and mitigate operational risks while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Financial Management: Ensure the financial health of the company through budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Monitor profitability and cost efficiency, implementing corrective measures where necessary. Collaborate with stakeholders to secure funding, drive investment strategies, and manage capital expenditures. Team Leadership: Lead a team of senior managers across departments, including production, finance, sales, HR, logistics, and quality assurance. Foster a high-performance culture through mentorship, training, and effective communication. Promote teamwork and collaboration while maintaining accountability across all functions. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly desirable).
