QUALIFICATIONS: Honours Degree in Commerce/Law/Actuarial/Business Administration/Risk Management at NQF8 with 480 credits.Mandatory Professional Body Registration: Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (FIISA).DUTIES/ KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS: The successful candidate must hold at least 15 Years Executive experience within a large corporate in the insurance industry.They should demonstrate behavioural skills, which include honesty & Integrity as required by the Prudential Standard GOI 4: Fitness and Propriety.The incumbent must demonstrate strong entrepreneurial leadership and sound knowledge of the non-life industry.Be able to formulate and implement strategic and operational plans.Create a sustainable business and ensure financial performance.Build and maintain strategic partnerships.Ensure compliance with the insurance legislation.Willing to uphold and perform the roles and responsibilities of Senior Management in terms of Prudential Standards (GOI 2 Governance of InsurersThe ESCAP Chief Executive Officer appointment is subject to the Prudential Authority approval in terms of section 14 of the Insurance Act 18 of 2017.
