Chief Engineer

Key Responsibilities:As a Chief Engineer at Express Employment Professionals (Witbank), you will be responsible for leading our team of engineers in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop. This includes managing a team of skilled mechanics, overseeing the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements:Must have a red seal qualification in Diesel mechanics.5 years plus experience as a workshop manager.Extensive knowledge of earthmoving equipment, including Bell equipment and Chinese brand equipment.Hydraulic systems knowledge.Basic knowledge of auto electrics.Knowledge of mine safety and equipment lockout procedures.Must have buying knowledge on equipment parts.
